LABELLE – In the early morning hours of Feb, 7, Labelle Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire. LaBelle 1, LaBelle 2 , LaBelle Command, Engine 15 and Tender 13 responded. Alva Fire and Clewiston Fire Department responded also to assist with fire ground suppression. Crews arrived on scene to a fully involved single wide and one vehicle with the engine compartment on fire. Engine 15 crews quickly took a defensive stand and began extinguishing the fire. The state fire marshal was contacted to investigate the fire. The fire is still under investigation. No injuries were reported. [Photo courtesy LaBelle Fire Rescue]
