Delta Kappa Gamma enjoyed hearing from 3rd-grade teacher Katie Warthen. Katie is a former 4-year recipient of the DKG scholarship. She shared the experiences of her first two years of teaching and how the support of her team and administration has been helpful to her. Katie emphasized the importance of encouraging people who are called to the challenging, yet rewarding teaching profession.
