CLEWISTON -- Hendry County Waste Management will hold a free Toxic Round Up event on the following dates and locations:

• Wednesday, April 13 and Thursday, April 14, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the LaBelle HHW Center, 1360 Forestry Division Road.

• Monday, April 11 and Tuesday, April 12, from 7:3 to 9:30 a.m. at the Clewiston HHW Center, 1381 Evercane Road.

This Toxic Round Up is for residential wast only. No commercial waste will be accepted.

Accepted waste materians include the following:

• Household cleaners: Oven cleaners, wood and metal polishers, toilet bowl cleaners, disinfectants, drain openers and etc.

• Automotive products: Oil and fuel additives, grease, rust solvents, antifreeze/coolant, starter fluids, motor oil, gasoline and etc.

• Household maintenance: Paint, paint thinners, paint strippers/removers, adhesives, and etc.

• Miscellaneous: All batteries such as lithium, alkaline and car; fingernail polish remover, pool chemicals, aerosols, fluorescent lights, and etc.
