On July 8, Timothy Crumb, owner of Crumb’s Well Drilling reported that his 2007 F550 Ford Well Drilling truck had been stolen.
The Hendry County Sheriff’s Officer described the vehicle as a, “White F550 with a 30’ Well Rig mounted on it. The vehicle has Crumb’s Well Drilling on both sides of the vehicle with a Florida License plate 746NWL or Z414NG.”
Cameron Edwards Moss posted a public plea, about the theft, on Facebook, “My family, Crumbs Well Drilling’s Well Rig was stolen from Montura Ranch in Clewiston, Florida on Saturday morning at 4:45am from Cabbage Palm Road. The neighbors had cameras, which is the only way we know when this happened.” post went on, “This is a piece of equipment that takes a year to build and our company cannot operate without it. It’s the truck and piece of equipment shown in the picture. If you have any information at all PLEASE call Greg at 863-228-3448.”
Moss also issued updates on the truck, “The truck was seen on camera going through South Bay AT 6:02 am, so it’s no longer in the Montura Area.” She added, “Checked the ports today. We know it’s in Miami. Hoping they take the truck and dump the rig somewhere that we can find.”
The vehicle was taken from 650 S. Cabbage Palm Street in the Montura area, of Clewiston, Florida. The HCSO has asked anyone who has seen this vehicle, or has any information regarding its whereabouts, to please contact them at 863-674-5600.
