BASINGER – The 2022 Highlands County Heritage is planned for March 12 and 13, at the Edna Pearce Lockett Estate on U.S. Highway 98, just north of the Highlands/Okeechobee County line.
Festival hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Admission is $10 per car.
The festival will include a color presentation, artisans, food vendors, antique cars, craft vendors, entertainment, education exhibits, quilt displays and quilt turning, a cow camp, Pow Wow dancing and more. Tommy Brandt will be the special entertainer.
Boat cruises on the river will be available both days. Tickets can be purchased at the boat dock.
