Congressman visits Immokalee and Ave Maria

Posted

On March 22, the communities of Immokalee and Ave Maria had a special visitor, Mario Diaz Belart, Republican U.S. Representative for Florida’s 25th congressional district. Belart comes several times a year to the area just to update the communities and ask all residents “is there anything I can help you and your community with.”

Bernardo Barnhart invited Mario Diaz Belart to come to his office at First Bank of Immokalee for a question & answer session with community residents and community leaders.

It is always a pleasure to hear from Mari-Diaz Belart, who updates the community on what’s going on in Washington DC. and in other states. The sessions had lots of business owners like Carey Soud, President of The First Bank of LaBelle, the Immokalee Chamber of Commerce President Danny Gonzalez, and Derik Royal of Royals Consolidated Properties, the Guadalupe Center, CRA, MSTU, The Collier County Sheriff Office in Immokalee, the Benson Center, Null’s Notary & Tax Services, Result Care owners, Fred N. Thomas, retired Public Administrator and lots of clubs and community organizations. Mario’s staff members freely gave updates along with answers to all of the attendees.

The First Bank of Immokalee had good attendance at this meeting with Mario Diaz Belart. It was time well spent for updated information on all political issues.

Later in the evening, Mario Diaz Belart went to Ave Maria to talk to community members and residents from the Collier County Republican Party. Lozano’s Restaurant in Ave hosted Mario’s presentation to the community. The gathering even had a surprise guest, Tom Monaghan, creator of Ave Maria and founder of Domino’s Pizza.
