Department of Health encourages residents to get the COVID-19 Vaccine

OKEECHOBEE — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, FDA, authorized Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 booster doses for all adults 18 and older six months after receiving their second Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. COVID-19 booster dose administration and eligibility are ultimately determined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC, guidance, and CDC advisors are meeting to make recommendations on boosters.
