Deputies help man whose bicycle was stolen

Posted

IMMOKALEE -- Three Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies took action when an Immokalee man’s bicycle was stolen. The deputies helped him get a new ride.

Mr. Hernandez reported his bike stolen last week. Deputies canvassed the area but were unable to locate the missing bike.

Mr. Hernandez relies on the bike for transportation. When our deputies heard of Mr. Hernandez’s misfortune they decided to help out.

The next night Lt. Orr, Sgt. Russo and Sgt. Puka returned to Mr. Hernandez’s residence and delivered a new bike to him.
