Florida Community Bank(FCB) has a unique story to tell when it comes to its history and formation. With roots tracing back to 1923, the legacy bank was the first bank established in Collier County. In January of 2010, Florida Community Bank was purchased by Bond Street Holdings Inc, a Miami-based holding company with over $740 million in capital. The acquisition allowed the new Florida Community Bank to leverage its name and presence throughout the state of Florida
On February 21, The Immokalee Chamber of Commerce hosted a “Meet & Greet’ Event for FCB. Barbara Monejon is the new Branch Manager for the Immokalee Branch and to let everyone know that the bank name will be changing to Synovus Bank. Barbara and her staff were well represented at this event. She explained to all about the new services being offered at the bank.
The program was hosted by the Immokalee Chamber President, Danny Gonzalez. He explained that his family business does business with FCB and wished FCB with its new name change, all the success in the Immokalee community.
Food, champagne and music for the Meet & Greet was furnised by Manny Touron.
