Big news out of Immokalee: The Fair Food Nation has been invited to help spread the word that the Coalition of Immokalee Workers is looking for interns for this summer! As the coalition looks toward the future and the growth of the Fair Food Program, it is time to grow its team in Immokalee – and its network of stalwart allies will help find great candidates.
Passionate, driven individuals are needed more than ever, committed to following the leadership of farmworkers and helping to build a movement that has been internationally recognized for its impact in combatting long-standing human rights abuses in the agriculture industry from wage theft and dangerous working conditions to sexual assault and forced labor. This unique, vibrant team thrives because of the vast diversity of skills and backgrounds of the staff members, so any and everyone who is interested is encouraged to reach out and start a conversation with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers!
If you are interested in the position or have candidate recommendations, please contact Marley Monacello (marley@ciw-online.org) and Julia Perkins (julia@ciw-online.org).
