Nancy Steiert

Nancy passed away on February 16, 2023. She was born August 6, 1942 in Miami, Florida to James and Martha Enrico. A resident of Okeechobee for 52 years, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Beta Sigma Phi. Nancy enjoyed gardening, spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends and family.
Nancy was full of faith, love, selflessness, determination, compassion, and caring. She was devoted to the love of her life Lenny, her family, and friends. She always found the good and positives in everything and everyone. Knowing her made you feel special and left you wanting to be a better person like her.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 61 years Lenny Steiert, one and only daughter Karen Matthews, sons Steve, Bobby (Kari), Joseph (Haja), Jimmy, Michael (Lonnie), 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, brother Robert (Hilda) Enrico, sister Barbara Whitehead, and many beloved and cherished nieces and nephews.
