IMMOKALEE — RCMA, Florida’s largest non-profit provider of early childhood education, received a $37,500 grant from the United Way of Collier and the Keys from an application submitted earlier in the year. The funds will support RCMA’s Head Start match requirement for its Collier County-based family child care home partners as well as scholarships for children in its Immokalee Community School afterschool program through March 31.

“We value our relationship with United Way agencies across the 21 Florida counties where we operate,” said Isabel Garcia, Executive Director. “Like United Way, we agree that educating our children is the best way to improve lives and our communities.”

Headquartered in Immokalee and celebrating its 56th anniversary this year, RCMA is Florida’s largest non-profit provider of early childhood education. RCMA serves 6,500 children and their families in 21 Florida counties. Learn more at rcma.org.
