Florida Community Health Centers will also host vaccination clinics on Saturday, Jan. 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to vaccinate those 65 and older, first responders and health care personnel with direct patient contact.

Florida Community Health Centers offer COVID-19 vaccinations on Saturday, Jan. 16

OKEECHOBEE – COVID-19 vaccinations will be offered  on a first come, first serve basis in drive-thru clinics at area Florida Commuity Health Centers on Saturday, Jan. 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The vaccination clinics will be open to those age 65 and older, first responders and health care personnel with direct patient contact. Supplies are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

Participating clinics include:

•  Dr. Fred Brown Clinic, 2015 U.S. 441, Okeechobee (240 vaccinations available);

• Florida Community Health Center, 315 South W.C. Owen Avenue, Clewiston (280 vaccinations available);

• Darwin Health Center, 3235 S.W. Port St. Lucie Blvd., Suite 105, Port St. Lucie (200 vaccinations);

• Florida Community Health Center, 1505 Delaware Ave., Fort Pierce (600 vaccinations);

• Florida Community Health Center, 15858 S.W. Warfield Blvd, Indiantown (320 vaccinations).

You do not have to be a Florida Community Health Centers patient. Those who are not FCHC patients should bring their Medicare and/or insurance cards.

There is no charge for the vaccine.
