Free Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Program rolls into Indiantown on May 26

Posted

INDIANTOWN — In partnership with the Florida Department of Emergency Management, the Village of Indiantown is hosting two mobile Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination efforts in Indiantown on Wednesday, May 26. The second dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered on Wednesday, June 16 at the same times and locations. The vaccines are free to those 12 years and older.

The mobile van will be placed at two different locations:

  • 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Big Mound Park, 15205 S.W. Indian Mound Drive
  • 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Booker Family Park, 15700 S.W. Warfield Blvd.

“As a rural area of the county, it was important that we bring free vaccines to those who have not had an opportunity to travel to receive them,” said Mayor Janet Hernandez. “The vaccines are safe, and they will protect you, your family and your community. Identification and insurance are not required and they are free.”

No appointments or identification required. First come, first served. Limited quantity. To obtain the vaccine in Florida, individuals 12-17 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian and complete the COVID-19 vaccine screening and consent form.
