FORT PIERCE — Students returning to Indian River State College (IRSC) for the 2021–22 academic year, and new students intending to start at the College next fall may begin applying for millions of dollars in scholarships available through the IRSC Foundation. Scholarships are awarded based on career interests, academic achievement, organizational affiliation, county of residence, financial need, and other criteria. Details and application instructions are posted on the Foundation website at www.irscfoundation.org.

Each year, thousands of IRSC students looking for financial assistance benefit from scholarships provided through the IRSC Foundation. Last year, the IRSC Foundation awarded over $3.5 million in scholarships to more than 3,000 students to help them further their education goals.

Deadlines to apply for the 2021-2022 IRSC Foundation scholarships begin Jan. 31, 2021. With hundreds of unique scholarships to apply for, every IRSC student should take the time to see what sources of support may be available through the IRSC Foundation.

Additionally, IRSC students who plan to graduate in spring or summer of 2021 who have plans to continue their education at a university may be eligible for transfer scholarships. Applications for transfer scholarships are also being accepted through Jan. 31, 2021.

For more information on available scholarships, contact Sherri Monds, Scholarship Development Coordinator, in the IRSC Foundation office at 772-462-4786 or visit www.irscfoundation.org.
