Barron Library hosts Costume Contest & StoryWalk

Posted

LABELLE — Barron Library will host a Virtual Costume Contest! Prizes will be awarded in the following four categories, Toddler/Preschool, Youth (5-17), Adult, and Family. Be original, be scary or be silly but remember costumes need to be family-friendly.

Entries can be submitted via email at barronlibrary.2013@gmail up to Nov. 5. Mention “Costume Contest” in the subject line. The winners will be announced Monday, Nov. 8.

Barron Library is delighted to bring StoryWalk to downtown LaBelle! StoryWalk is a fun, educational activity that places a children’s story along the route of Main Street, Desoto Avenue, and ending on Park Avenue. During this short walk, you will follow a series of signs that you and your family can read and enjoy answering the questions along the way. Be sure to take a picture at the end of your walk with the scarecrow and tag us on Facebook!

Last but not least don’t forget about our ongoing Chess Club, Sewing Club, and Book Club.
