LABELLE -- The LaBelle Chamber of Commerce will host the 2022 Night on the Town Event on Tuesday, Feb. 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Fort Thompson Ave. into Main Street.

The upcoming event marks the 10^th anniversary of the popular venue, which typically hosts 40-50 LaBelle businesses. Last year 48 participated.

We do this as a kick-off to Swamp Cabbage Week in LaBelle. Our event is to highlight the businesses which make up our amazing little town. This event is to promote and support our membership, but we also allow non-members to join in for a small fee. We draw a HUGE crowd. The members can do anything in their 10- by 10-foot space to highlight and promote their business. Samples are handed out, items sold, raffles and giveaways are offered, and company brochures and flyers provided for the public. It is amazing how creative some of them are!

The Chamber is all about supporting and promoting our membership. We have been a part of LaBelle since 1963. I have been here 6 years, and I love interacting with our membership. We have a weekly e-mail newsletter which goes out to our membership, as well as a very active Facebook page and website.
