Voters can start casting ballots in person for the general election next week when early voting starts around the big lake.
• Glades County early voting will be held Oct. 24 through Oct. 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 598 Avenue J, Moore Haven. For more information about voting in Glades County, go online to voteglades.com.
• Hendry County early voting will be held Oct. 19 through Oct. 31 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 25 E. Hickpochee Ave., LaBelle and at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 1100 S. Olympia Street, Suite 504, Clewiston.
• Okeechobee County early voting will be held 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 19 through Saturday, Oct. 31 in the Historic Okeechobee County Courthouse, 304 N.W. Second Street. For more information on voting in Okeechobee County, go online to voteokeechobee.com.
• Palm Beach County early voting will be held Monday, Oct. 19, through Sunday, Nov. 1, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early voting sites include the Belle Glade Branch Library, 725 N.W. Fourth Street, Belle Glade and the supervisor of elections’ West County Branch Office, 2976 State Road 15, Belle Glade. For more information about voting in Palm Beach County, go online to www.pbcelections.org.

Voters must bring an acceptable photo ID such as:
• Florida driver license.
General election
On Tuesday, Nov. 3, the day of the general election, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
If you do not know where your polling place is, contact your county Supervisor of Elections. You can also find your precinct and polling place on your county Supervisor of Elections’ website.
