Fire officials: 1 dead in early morning fire in Tampa


TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — One person died in a house fire in Tampa early Tuesday, officials said.

Tampa Fire Rescue said on that crews responded to a 911 call shortly after 4 a.m. at the Live Oak Cabins apartments.

The fire was quickly extinguished, the agency said.

The Arson Task Force will investigate the cause of the fire.

The name of the victim has not been released.
