The Miss Volunteer America is a nationwide, service-oriented scholarship program based in Tennessee that seeks to empower young women across the country through educational scholarships and extraordinary opportunities.

"Walking into this weekend, I felt so honored to even be a part of the inaugural Miss Florida Volunteer class, and the fact that I get to represent those incredible women is beyond anything I can explain," explained Price.

"The Miss Volunteer America Pageant has created an opportunity for young women to embrace Scholarship, Education, Respnsiblity, Volunteerism and Empowerment (#SERVE) and truly is an organization that stands for women empowerment!" she added. "The reality that I finally get to serve the greatest state in the nation is finally setting in and I couldn’t be more excited to get to work! I can’t wait to represent my home state at the Miss Volunteer America pageant this May in Jackson, Tennessee."
