CLEWISTON- Clewiston High School recently made an announcement suggesting that all sophomores, Jjuniors, seniors, and their parents look into applying for the Curtis Pathway Prep Hendry/Glades Bridge Program at Florida Southwestern State College.

The free, seven week, summer program allows current and future students to prepare for college level writing, math, and academic expectations, “Upon completion of the program, you will receive a certificate of accomplishment. In addition to the student series, there will be one parent workshop on July 16 at 5:30pm (we have a Spanish translator for parent night). Space is limited (busing from Clewiston and Moore Haven is available),” the announcement stated.

Desired applicants are listed as: students entering college for the first time in Summer or Fall 2020, Newly admitted Dual Enrollment students for Fall 2020, and High school students who have not yet passed the PERT test.

The program will run from June 23 through August 6, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00-5:15 p.m.

Seating is limited so interested students should complete the application as soon as possible by emailing Amy English: asenglish2@fsw.edu
