The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), Clewiston City Police Department (CPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), or the Department of Corrections (DOC) during the week of Dec. 28-Jan. 3.
• Javier Daniel Gutierrez-Rentas, 24, Clewiston, was arrested on Dec. 29 by D/S L. Dominguez on charges of possession of a firearm by a Florida convicted felon, grand theft and armed robbery.
• Brandon Harrelle, 37, Clewiston, was arrested on Dec. 29 by D/S J. Miller on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
• Brieta Denise Mitchell, 43, Fort Myers, was arrested on Jan. 2, 2021, by D/S M. Afonso on charges of possession of synthetic cannabinoid.
• Samuel Martin, 23, LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 2 by Cpl. G. Corey on charges of criminal mischief over $1,000.
