The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the Clewiston City Police Department (CPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) during the period from Feb. 22 through Feb. 28.

It was reported to the Caloosa Belle in error that Ronald Van Rodgers was arrested on 02/17/2021 on charges of possession of controlled substance without a prescription possession of drug equipment. Ronald Van Rodgers was not arrested.

• John Douglass Bourland, 47, Clewiston, was arrested on Feb. 22 by Detective J. Perez on charges of burglary, unoccupied dwelling, grand theft and felony criminal mischief.

• Juliete Dawn Padron, 45, LaBelle, was arrested on Feb. 22 by Detective J. Perez on charges of burglary, unoccupied dwelling, grand theft and felony criminal mischief.

• Anthony Nelson, 56, LaBelle, was arrested on Feb. 22 by Deputy S. Bustamante on charges of burglary of unoccupied vehicle and petit theft.

• Matthew Wallace Steverson, 28, Venus, was arrested on Feb. 22 by K9 Depuity B. Bayle on charges of possession of drug equipment, distribution of marijuana and possession of marijuana over 20 grams.

• Eduardo Ruiz, 22, LaBelle, was arrested on Feb, 22 by Sgt. J. Olvera on charges of criminal mischief, petit theft, battery and obstruction of justice-tampering in 2nd degree felony proceedings.

• A 15-year-old male, LaBelle, was arrested on Feb. 22 by Detective Sgt. J. Conyers on charges of grand theft auto.

• William Jorge Whatts, 35, Lehigh Acres was arrested on Feb. 23 by Deputy Benitez, on an out of county warrant.

• Matthew Allen Lockmiller, 28, LaBelle was arrested on Feb. 23 by Deputy R. Colon on charges of dealing in stolen property, grand theft, false ownership information to pawn items and contempt of court.

• Wilson Israel Domingo, 21, LaBelle was arrested on Feb, 24 by Deputy R. Colon on charges of possession of cocaine.

• Antawan Lashawn Jones, 34, Lehigh Acres, Feb, 24 by Deputy A. Champagne on four out of county warrants.

• Jillian Elaine Griffith, 38, LaBelle, was arrested on Feb. 24 by Sgt. L. Hernandez on charges of possession of cocaine, destroying evidence, possession of harmful new legend drug without prescription and possession of drug equipment.

• Eddie Lee Flournah, 47, Clewiston was arrested on Feb. 25 by Cpl. L. Drew on charges of possession of cocaine.

• Juan Jose Sanchez, 27, Clewiston was arrested on Feb. 25 by Cpl. H. Kearns on charges of felony aggravated battery without intent to kill.

• Rogelio Sanchez, 31, Clewiston was arrested on Feb. 25 by Cpl. H. Kearns on charges of felony aggravated battery without intent to kill.

• Angela Lynn Cornelius, 43, Clewiston was arrested on Feb. 26 by Sgt. J. Olvera on charges of felony violation of probation.

• Rangel Nelson, 24, LaBelle was arrested on Feb. 26 by Sgt. J. Olvera on charges of felony violation of probation.

• Michael Joseph Guy, 39, LaBelle, was arrested on Feb. 27 by Deputy M. Afonso on charges of distributing opium or derivative (delivery within 1,000 feet of specified area), public order crimes (use of 2-way communication device facilitate felony) and contempt of court.

• Nicholas Browning, 23, LaBelle was arrested on Feb. 27 by Deputy M. Afonso on charges of Possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug equipment, resist officer without violence and two counts of felony violation of probation warrants.

• Ruth Elizabeth Archer, 59, Clewiston was arrested on Feb. 27 by Deputy J. Rodriguez on felony failure to appear.

• Edwin Alonzo Alvarez, 32, Clewiston was arrested on Feb. 27 by Cpl. Z. Scelfo on charges of felony violation of probation.

• Matthew Dwayne Whidden, 36, LaBelle was arrested on Feb. 27, by Deputy D. Coronilla on charges of possession of weapon by Florida convicted felon.

• Erica Lee Ibarra, 31, LaBelle was arrested on Feb. 27 by DeputyD. Coronilla on charges of felony – out of county warrant.

• Jimmy Glenn Wagner, 49, LaBelle was arrested on Feb. 28 b Deputy D. Coronilla on charges of resist officer/flee & eluding and felony violation of probation.
