LABELLE — NorthStar is planning to sample the following bridges located on State Road 80 in Hendry County, for asbestos and metal-based coatings: SR 80 westbound over Roberts Canal; SR 80 eastbound over Roberts Canal; SR 80 westbound over Townsend Canal; and SR 80 eastbound over Townsend Canal.
Intermittent single eastbound and westbound lane closures will occur on SR 80 from the Lee County line to Grandma’s Grove Resort on the eastbound and westbound bridges over Roberts Canal and Townsend Canal on Thursday, Oct. 1, and Friday, Oct. 2, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Hendry County. Please use caution in the area and watch for workers near the roadway.
