LaBelle student wins speech contest

CLEWISTON — Addyson Shiveler, 10th grade student of LaBelle High School, competed in the Florida Farm Bureau District Speech Contest held at the old Dunwody Lodge, in Clewiston, on Aug. 27 and won first place. She competed against students from Broward and Collier County. She will move on to compete at the state competition in October.
