Ladies Bible Study begins Jan. 7

Posted

LABELLE — On Friday, Jan. 7 at 11:30 a.m., a new Bible Study will start at LaBelle Assembly of God. This is the Community Ladies Bible Class taught by Katherine Avery. The new study will be on first and second Thessalonians.

The church at Thessalonica was very young, having been established only two or three years before this letter was written. The Thessalonian Christians needed to mature in their faith. In addition, there was a misunderstanding concerning Christ’s second coming, some thought Christ would return immediately; thus they were confused when their loved ones died because they expected Christ to return beforehand. Also, believers were being persecuted.

All ladies are welcome to this study. LaBelle Assembly of God is located at 139 Fraser Ave., across from the Edward Upthegrove Elementary School. For more information, call 863-675-0900 and ask for Kathy.
