LABELLE — The LaBelle High School Fire Academy conducted a flag raising ceremony Thursday morning, Nov. 3. The Fire Academy students worked on learning the proper procedure for retiring a worn flag. They also assisted with raising a new flag in its place.
“My students learned a few things this morning and was able to take part in honoring our nation as well as our community,” said Ron Snell, a Fire Academy mentor.
The Fire Academy is having a fundraiser. They are selling plastic tumblers featuring their logo for $5. Visit the Facebook page for more information on how to support this awesome group of students: https://www.facebook.com/clewiston.cjo.
