Motorcycle crash claims life of Clewiston man

CLEWISTON  -- A Florida Highway Patrol press release stated that at approximately 8:54 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, a 22-year-old Clewiston man, operating a motorcycle, was traveling west on Pine Lane west of Cabbage Way in Hendry County. The motorcycle traveled onto the north shoulder and collided with a culvert. The motorcycle vaulted and overturned several time. The motorcyclist was separated from the bike and came to final rest on a residential lawn located on the north side of Pine Lane.

It was reported the motorcyclist was airlifted to Saint Mary’s Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
