Hendry County Sheriff’s Office deputies along with emergency response personnel responded to a multi-vehicle traffic crash on North State Road 29 at approximately 10:15 a.m. Oct. 1 near the Hendry/Glades county line.
It is reported there are five vehicles involved, including a sand truck. There is sand on the roadway.
There were no reported injuries.
Crews just arrived on scene to clear the sand from the roadway. They anticipate road blockage for approximately another hour.
