Posted

LABELLE -- Thousands of people lined Bridge Street for the 2023 Swamp Cabbage Festival Parade Saturday morning.

The 90 minute parade was packed with floats, marching bands, beauty queens and horses, including the famous Budweiser Clydsdales.

The festival also featured a car show.

Those attending the celebration enjoyed sampling swamp cabbage in cups or fritters.

In Barron Park, the LaBelle Rotary Club's Armadillo races were a hit!

The festival continues Sunday in Barron Park.  For more information, go online to Swamp Cabbage Festival (labelleswampcabbagefestival.org)
