Three new deputies sworn into HCSO

LABELLE -- Three new deputies were sworn into the Hendry County Sherriff's Office on May 1. 

Deputy Barrira was a part of Class 168 at the Southwest Florida Public Service Academy that began in November 2022. He graduated in April of 2023 and will now be joining the agency as a part of Road Patrol.
 
Deputy Willis was also a part of Class 168 at the Southwest Florida Public Service Academy that began in November 2022. He graduated in April of 2023 and will now be joining the agency as a part of Road Patrol.
 
Deputy Machado joins the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office with approximately 4 years of Law Enforcement experience.He began his Law Enforcement Career in 2018 when he attended the Florida Highway Patrol Training Academy.
 
He then stayed with FHP until 2020, when he transferred to Collier County Sheriff's Office, where he was at until 2021.
 
Prior to Law Enforcement, Deputy Machado served in the Military for approximately 2 years. He will be joining the agency as a Reserve Road Patrol.
