HENDRY COUNTY – Two teenagers died early Saturday morning in a high speed crash in Hendry County.

According to FHP, a 2019 Maserati Sedan was actively fleeing from the Hendry County Sheriff`s Office and traveling southbound on C.R. 835 at a high rate of speed. The vehicle became airborne, crossed the canal, and struck the southern embankment of the canal. The car then fell into the canal and came to rest upright and facing southwest along the southern shore of the canal.
