Vehicle reported stolen – another found recovered in Grandma’s Grove

LABELLE — At approximately 5:15 a.m. on Jan. 6, Hendry County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Grandma’s Grove, located at 2250 W. State Road 80, in the unincorporated area of LaBelle, after a resident reported his truck being stolen.

The victim reported hearing a vehicle start up, and then noticed headlights through the window of his residence. He quickly exited his home to find his 2020 Dodge Ram truck gone.

It was also reported that same morning, in another area of the RV park, a vehicle that was parked in a lot that appeared unfamiliar to them. Further investigation revealed the 2002 Chevy Blazer had been reported stolen from Collier County.

The sheriff's office is asking if anyone has any information regarding either vehicle to contact the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office General Crimes at 863-674-5600.
