Two people died in a crash on Corkscrew Road in Estero on Monday morning.
An Immokalee woman, identified as Magan Raynor, 23, was driving a white GMC Terrain east on Corkscrew Road near Gammery Boulevard when she somehow lost control of her SUV and veered into oncoming traffic.
That’s when she collided head-on with another vehicle. The crash killed both Raynor and the other driver, identified by troopers as 67-year-old Chan F. Lun of Port Charlotte. Lun’s passenger, 61-year-old Kek Chan of Fort Myers, was airlifted to the hospital with critical injuries, authorities said.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
