Jimmy Garvin came home to Immokalee to make a special appearance with the Collier County Museum for a Black History Month presentation in Naples. The presentation took place on February 20. Jimmy is a graduate of Immokalee High School and has written a book about his career. While stopping in Immokalee, Jimmy came by to talk with The Immokalee Chamber of Commerce President( Danny Gonzalez) and to check on the latest community up dates in Immokalee, Ave Maria and surrounding areas and to offer his services.
Jimmy’s career goals still remains centered around Educational values for for all kids and the support of his family. Jimmy Garvin has been inducted into the Golfer Hall of Fame
