The Immokalee Chamber of Commerce was invited to a very special event that was very rewarding for Danny Gonzalez, President of the Immokalee Chamber of Commerce. While Hurricane Irma left marks on the Immokalee Community, Danny’s first decisions after the hurricane left Immokalee was to reach out to all Day Care Centers in Immokalee with assistance . May 18, 2018 was the VKP Graduation Ceremony which took place at the Pathways Early Education Center affectionately know to the Immokalee Community as “The Immokalee Day Care Center.” The graduation ceremony was beautifully performed by Ms. Regina White, Center Director and her staff. The Pathways Educational Center also has a new Executive Director, Ms. Beth Hatch. Beth, a former principal of the CCPS(Vineyard Elementary) in Naples, gave out lots of special recognitions to VKP teaching staff. Last but not least, Hatch gave recognition to all of the parents who had kids graduating. The parents of graduating kids all stood up and gave themselves a “Hugged Clap.” The graduation class sang songs, received books for each Pathway family, completed the graduation walk with “Pomp and Circumstances”, and received their graduating Diplomas. The final excitement was enjoying the Graduation Cake Ceremony. The following students were graduates: Tyier Jeremiah Sims, Sandra Cortez, Jonathan Ruiz Cruz, Rodrigo Pena Terron, Itzariah Colin, Marco Antonio Ramirez, Jr.,Yomi Sunshine Smith, Christian Ramirez Santana, Lucia Lopez Patino, Brandon Salisbury,Dariel Chavez Magana, Khloe Paz, Jayden Trejo Abarca, Israel Thomas, Diego Lopez Mjangos,, Jaylen Jordon Alviar, Martin Vargas, Melanye tinajero-Perez, Lukas Jesus Maldonado, Nevaeh Marie Lopez, Michael Domingo Gomez, Miracle Rose Vidaurri.
