Immokalee High School student takes flight!

Posted

Eduardo Garcia took his first flight Saturday, May 4 and was provided an hour of dual instruction in a Cessna 172 Skyhawk. Gary Brooks was his flight instructor and is his teacher at Immokalee High School. Eduardo is 16 years old and a Sophmore in the Aerospace Technology class. He did a fantastic job learning the four basics of flight (straight and level, climbs, turns, and descents) during his lesson. He received a pilot log book which was endorsed by his instructor showing his flight lesson. As you can see there were several people and organizations that made this event possible. Pictured form left to right are Gary Lesley, Gary Brooks, Eduardo Garcia and Vincent Keeys.
