Immokalee man fatally stabbed on New Years Eve

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a stabbing about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 2200 block of Chadwick Circle, in the area of Farm Workers Village. The man was identified as Schimael Deroses, 21, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Detectives are investigating the stabbing as a homicide. At press time no arrests had been made.
