Mobile COVID-19 messaging

Posted

The Florida Department of Health in Collier County (DOH-Collier) has begun mobile COVID-19 messaging in multi-lingual areas of Collier County including Immokalee, rural Collier, parts of East Naples, and Golden Gate City. Messaging encourages hand washing, social distancing, and reminding residents to stay home when sick. In Immokalee and rural Collier, a large box truck is driving along I-75, SR 29, and through Immokalee with COVID-19 messaging in Spanish and Creole printed on the outside of the truck. In parts of East Naples and Golden Gate City, a transit van is driving with COVID-19 messaging in English, Spanish, and Creole.
