PAHOKEE – The Pahokee community celebrated Cinco de Mayo on Saturday, May 7, at the Pahokee Marina, 190 N. Lake Avenue.
The celebration included music, children's activities and a car show. Music was by D. J. Marco and Mariachi Pancho Villa.
The Cinco de Mayo celebration was part of the year-long celebration of Pahokee's 100th anniversary. The committee is currently planning their next event, Juneteenth/Muckteenth. For more information, see their City of Pahokee Centennial Celebration 2022 on Facebook.
