Pahokee plans centennial celebration

Posted

The City of Pahokee is the first City in Western Palm Beach County to have the privilege of Celebrating 100 Years of Service to its citizens. The celebration will cover special events throughout the year
with our special day culminating on March 26, 2022, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with special events held in January, February and March.

Incorporated in 1922, the city has the greatest access to beautiful Lake Okeechobee, where most of the events will be held. We know how our community loves celebrating and we want you to
be a part of the celebration of food, family and fun during our special dates and events.

We are soliciting sponsorships for this 100th year celebration.

We need  support as we come to recognize that a vital part of Community is the Unity of all of our surrounding neighbors, businesses, Pahokee Alumni, from the past, who were the foundation, the present that
never lost hope to prepare for the future of our great City.

The success of the Centennial team representing the City of Pahokee depends on the financial sponsorship from business and organizations. All sponsorships are
requested by Feb. 20, 2022.

If you have any questions, contact Rev. Dr. Patricia S. Wallace 561-

261-6220 or email pswministries@gmail.com

Sincerely,
The Centennial Committee,
Rev. Dr. Patricia S. Wallace, Chair
Keith Babb, Mayor
