The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), or the Department of Corrections (DOC) in Belle Glade, Pahokee, South Bay or Canal Point.

• Jamar Evans, 32, South Main Street, Belle Glade, was arrested Feb. 28 by PBSO and charged with a felony battery. Bond was set at $1,000.

• James Palmer, 32, South Main Street, Belle Glade, was arrested Feb. 28 by PBSO and charged with aggravated battery - offender knew or should have known victim was pregnant. Bond has not been set.

• Vernon Corinthian, 35, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Belle Glade, was arrested March 2 by PBSO and charged with driving while license suspended/revocated equivalent status third subsequent violation, and failure to register motor vehicle. Bond has not been set.

• John Charles, 23, Southwest Fifth Street, Belle Glade, was arrested March 2 by PBSO and charged with driving while license suspended habitual offender. Bond was set at $3,000.

• Johnnie Smith, 44, Northwest 15th Street, Belle Glade, was arrested March 3 by PBSO and charged with grand theft of motor vehicle. Bond was set at $10,000.

• Keaunte Bush, 21, Runyon Village, Belle Glade, was arrested March 3 by PBSO and charged with aggravated battery - person uses a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $3,000.

• Anthony Cannady, 50, Southwest Third Street, Belle Glade, was arrested March 5 by PBSO and charged with aggravated assault - with deadly weapon without intent to kill, possession of weapon - or ammo by convicted Fla. felon, and resisting officer - obstruct without violence. Bond was set at $6,000.

• Lamart Cooper, 27, Siville Street, Pahokee, was arrested March 3 by PBSO and charged with possession of weapon - or ammo by convicted Fla. felon. Bond was set at $25,000.

• Jakayla Jackson, 18, West Third Street, Pahokee, was arrested March 3 by PBSO and charged with aggravated battery - cause bodily harm or disability. Bond has not been set.

• Kelvin Richardson, 28, Salvator Court, Pahokee, was arrested March 3 by PBSO and charged with possession of weapon - or ammo by convicted Fla. felon. Bond was set at $25,000.

• Robert Starks, 58, South Flame Avenue, Pahokee, was arrested March 4 by PBSO and charged with cocaine possession, and resisting officer without violence. Bond was set at $3,000.
