Partnership makes local commitment to financial education in Naples

Posted

NAPLES — UBS Private Wealth Management announced on May 11 that The Matina Group, a wealth management team in Naples, with additional offices in Short Hills, NJ and New York City, will be partnering with Barron’s to offer students and faculty of Ave Maria University, a private Catholic institution located in Southwest Florida, the Barron’s in Education program.

The program provides students with complimentary access to a digital Barron’s subscription and allows students and faculty to engage with business leaders, top market professionals, C-level executives, and highly successful investors to improve financial literacy and proficiency. By having access to the same insight that top business leaders have, the program aims to help the students increase their knowledge about mortgages, retirement plans, credit card debt, global capital markets, investment and stock options, college loans, asset management, and diversification.

The students will also have the opportunity to learn directly from The Matina Group. With more than three decades of financial industry knowledge and the team’s founder, Joe Matina being named to Barron’s Top 1200 Financial Advisors list every year since 2015, the multi-generational team are uniquely qualified to offer students insight into the dynamic world of wealth management.

“We want to empower students with the financial knowledge and education they need to help them navigate through life and feel secure in their decisions surrounding money,” said Joe Matina. “The Barron’s in Education program is designed to equip students with these critical tools, and we’re proud to be a part of teaching the next generation of business leaders.”

The Matina Group has been proudly advising clients within the Naples area since 2000. As a nationally recognized Private Wealth Management Team, the Matina Group focuses on developing best-in-class solutions for women, business owners, C-level executives, entrepreneurs, foundations, and endowments.
