Congratulations, students and teachers! The last day of school has arrived, and we could not be more proud of all that you’ve accomplished this year.

These last few weeks were filled with lots of celebrations, including moving-up ceremonies and graduations. Our current fifth-grade students in Immokalee will head to Immokalee Middle School in the fall. Definitely an exciting time! And last week, Immokalee High School saw more than 400 graduates receive their diplomas! Together, those students received $5.4 million in scholarship support—an increase of $300 thousand over last year! Well done, Class of 2019!

The next few weeks will be filled with sunshine and sandals. While we hope our students enjoy the break, we also want to remind parents that there are resources available on our website (www.collierschools.com) to help continue your child’s growth and learning. On the home page, click on the rotator image titled, “Summer 2019 Learning Opportunities and Resources.”

You’ll also want to be sure to continue to check your school’s website for important back-to-school information such as school supply lists, dress code information, and “Meet the Teacher” events. To find your school’s website, visit www.collierschools.com and select Schools in the green navigation bar. Click on your child’s school and choose the School Website link under the picture.

Throughout the summer, you can also stay connected with us on social media (Facebook and Twitter) @collierschools.

Again, congratulations on making it through another successful school year. We’ll see you in August!
