Tax Collector Gannon offers commemorative lapel pins to Palm Beach County’s Vietnam Veterans

A grateful nation says thank you

WEST PALM BEACH — Constitutional Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon is pleased to once again offer a commemorative lapel pin to our county’s Vietnam War veterans.

“This is a heartfelt tribute to those who served, and I am honored to recognize our veterans and say, ‘Thank you,’ for their service to our country,” said Gannon. “We must never forget their service and sacrifice.”

Designed by the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration, a program authorized by Congress, the lapel pins are available to anyone who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces between Nov. 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975, regardless of location.

Veterans may request a lapel pin by submitting a request online at www.pbctax.com and the lapel pin will be mailed along with a personal note of appreciation. Family members may also request a lapel pin on behalf of a veteran.

Gannon has partnered with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to make the pins available now through Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2021.
