4-H event to include Easter egg hunt on horseback

OKEECHOBEE — The 4-H Showstoppers Club and The Outsiders equestrian drill team will host a 4-H Easter Fun Show at the Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center on April 1 for children ages 8 and up and their horses.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. The show will start at 10 a.m. Registration fee is $35 per rider.

Games will include a carrot race, bunny tail race, egg-citing pattern, basket roping, musical pole and musical pony. High point awards will be given in each age group.

Participants will also hunt for Easter eggs on horseback.

Overnight RV spots and stalls are available at the Agri-Civic Center.
