OKEECHOBEE — An Okeechobee 4-H group arranged to bring the Chick-fil-A truck to town as a fundraiser to help with a trip to Washington. The event took place on June 1 at Okeechobee Feed.

UF IFAS Extension Okeechobee County 4-H County Council/Junior Leaders will be heading to the Citizen Washington Focus in July. Chick-fil-A participates in these fundraisers often, donating some of their profits from the event to the club/group who brought them in.

Two 4-H County Council members, Reese Cohen and Alyssa Cortez, will be travelling with Paula Daniel as chaperone.

Through Citizenship Washington Focus, teens experience Washington D.C. like never before. Using the nation's capital as their classroom. CWF connects young leaders from across the country to gain skills and experience.
