Agri-Civic Center announces events

OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center, 4601 S.R. 710 E. (other entrance at 4200 S.R. 70), will host the following events in the month of February:

Saturday, Feb. 4 & Sunday, Feb. 5
Tour of Champions Barrel Race
Barrel racers from all over Florida will compete in one of the largest barrel races held in the state. This is the last of six competitions in the Tour, each one held in a different location. There is no charge for the public to attend, and a concession stand will be open.

Thursday, Feb. 9 - Saturday, Feb. 11
Bureau of Land Management Wild Horse & Burro Adoption
The BLM offers wild horses and burros for adoption or purchase at events located across the country throughout the year.

Thursday & Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 17 - Sunday, Feb. 19
Florida Junior High School Rodeo & All Florida Junior Rodeo
Friday night will be Florida Junior High School Rodeo and Saturday & Sunday will be All Florida Junior Rodeo. Youth competitors ages 5 to 14 from all over Florida compete in amateur rodeo events. Come out and support the young cowboys and cowgirls and watch the action.

Friday, Feb. 24

Treasure Coast Food Bank Drive Thru Mobile Pantry
9 to 11 a.m., entrance is at 4601 Hwy. 710 gate only.

Sunday, Feb. 26
Mexican Rodeo- KAZA Productions
Mexican music and food
1 - 8 p.m.
