OKEECHOBEE — The Big O Teen Anglers held their second tournament of the 2021 year out of Okee-Tantie on Feb. 19. This month’s tournament included 21 anglers catching a total of 31 Bass at a combined weight of 73.78 pounds
The largest bass caught was by Dominik Steinmetz at 5.16 pounds...Great job Dominik!
This month’s standings were as follows:
9-12 Age Group
• First place went to Matthew May with 7.80 pounds
13-19 Age Group
• First place went to Korbyn Lewis with 11.09 pounds
Every month we have boat captains that volunteer their Saturday morning to our youth anglers, therefore we’d like to extend our thanks to the following: Terry Seabolt, Billy Ellerbee, Jim Newell, Robin Clegg, Josh Clay, Raul Martinez, Paul Lynch and Robert Hertzer.
Thank you to our community for the support we were shown at our February Car Wash. The kids had a great time and are looking forward to the next one.
