Boaters warned of low power line on St. Lucie Canal

Boaters warned of low power line on St. Lucie Canal

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reports there is a low power line east of Port Mayaca Lock before the Railroad Swing Bridge. Latest report is that a sailboat with a height of 46 feet cleared the low wire. The lowest point will be to the north side of the canal. The Channel is still open to navigation, but caution should be taken when navigating through this area.
